Administrative Professionals Day

By virtue of the authority vested by the Constitution of Virginia in the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, there is hereby officially recognized:

WHEREAS, administrative professionals play a vital role in coordinating the operations of government, corporate offices, schools, small businesses, hospitals, houses of worship, and many other places of employment throughout our Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, administrative professionals are valued for their organizational skills such as time management and communications, are innovators within their organizations, and are essential contributors in today’s dynamic work environment; and

WHEREAS, the work of administrative professionals today requires advanced knowledge and expertise in office technology, strategic support, project management, organization, customer service, and other critical office management responsibilities; and

WHEREAS, administrative professionals routinely make sacrifices in support of carrying out responsibilities and sustaining the mission of their organization; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary and proper to recognize administrative professionals for the important function they play in the success of business and government throughout our great Commonwealth and nation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Glenn Youngkin, do hereby recognize April 24, 2024, as ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS DAY in the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, and I call this observance to the attention of all our citizens.
