Since the beginning of the McAuliffe administration, 875 economic development deals have been closed in Virginia with $14.36 billion in capital investment, which is more than any previous governor in the first 36 months in office.Governor McAuliffe is focused on growing the #NewVAEconomy and continuing our historic economic success.

    5. Governor McAuliffe signs proclamation commemorating the Norfolk Naval Station’s 100 years of Service

      • “Gov. Terry McAuliffe issued a proclamation Thursday on the 100 years of Naval Station Norfolk. According to the governor’s announcement, the base’s origins date back to Jane of 1917 when President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation to buy the former Jamestown Exposition along additional land.
